Lenovo's recently unveiled 2-in-1, the Yoga Book, is available in Android Marshmallow and Windows 10 Home versions.

With some praising its look and feel,reviews have been mixed, but some considering its capabilities not up to scratch. Its Intel Atom processor doesn't provide enough power for a workhorse device, they have argued.

The Android version costs US$500 and the Windows version goes for $550.

Broadcom Sews Up $5B Deal for The Brocade Communications

Chip manufacturer Broadcom on Wednesday announced that it would buy Brocade Communications, a major supplier of fiber channel storage area networking technology to data centers, for US$5.5 billion in cash and the assumption of Brocade's $400 million debt.

Brocade CEO Lloyd Carney said that represents a 47 percent premium over Brocade's closing share price last week .

Social Media Analytics had been marketing its technology to law enforcement agencie

The American Civil Liberties Union recently uncovered evidence that led Twitter, Facebook and its Instagram subsidiary to share that information with numerous law enforcement agencies and stop sharing the data with Geofeedia, a firm accused of improperly collecting social media data on protest groups.

Geofeedia, a developer of location-based analytics, had been marketing its technology to law enforcement agencies. It was used for such purposes as monitoring Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland, according to the ACLU.
