How much will Dynamics 365 it cost?

There will be two editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Enterprise and Business. Enterprise Edition is for organizations with more than 250 users, and Business Edition is for companies with 10 to 250 users. The Business Edition, being focused more on smaller organizations includes Dynamics 365 for Financials. In the Enterprise Edition, Financials is not available but Dynamics 365 for Operations is.

Business Edition licensing is $50 (per user per month) for full users. Light users are $5 (per user per month).

Enterprise Edition is available in two plans – Plan 1 includes everything except Operations, and Plan 2 includes everything including Operations. Plan 1 is $115 and Plan 2 is $210 (per user per month). Light users are $10 (per user per month). These prices make up the lowest pricing tier. As more users are licensed, the cost of the licenses goes down, except Enterprise Plan 2 which has fewer needed users in organizations and does not have tiered pricing.

How is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licensed?

Licenses are available on a per user or per device basis. That is further broken down into Full Users and Light Users. Full Users have access to all features in their plan, such as Operation, Sales and Customer Service. Light Users get access to reading reports and business data, as well as performing updates in some records such as HR forms and time tracking.

Per device licensing is available only for the Enterprise Edition. It is a good licensing option when multiple people use a machine, such as a 24-hour support desk.

For Business Edition and Enterprise Edition Plan 1 have no minimum user requirements. To license Microsoft Dynamics for Operations (or Plan 2) a minimum of 20 users are required. Are there non-production instances available with the plans?Enterprise Edition plans include non-production environment for each application, regardless of the number of users that are licensed for that application. Additionally, the Dynamics 365 for Operations application includes two sandbox environments – one for development and one for standard acceptance testing.
